Redlands Center for Change is the case management and treatment provider for Redlands Drug Court. We work collaboratively with other members of the Drug Court Team. As the team’s treatment provider we help our clients achieve success in living a productive life that is free of criminal activity. Our treatment services offer group and individual counseling, and we provide case management services for mental health, education, employment and community referral needs.

Program Services

Our group services include skill building in areas such as:

  • Relapse prevention
  • Socialization
  • Family education
  • Early intervention

Our individual sessions include:

  • Intake and assessment
  • Crisis intervention
  • Treatment planning

Case management services are provided for:

  • Mental health
  • Education
  • Employment

Community agencies also provide services onsite on a quarterly basis. Those services can include:

  • HIV/AIDS education, screening and referral
  • Hepatitis C education, screening and referral

Our counselors are community oriented and maintain a complete list of community referrals to meet client needs.

Eligibility Requirements

We provide treatment services to individuals who have been convicted of drug charges or charges that can be directly linked to substance abuse. Referrals from the Superior Court are presumed to have a personal drug abuse history and show signs that they can benefit from our treatment services.

Referrals

All our referrals come from the San Bernardino County Superior Court with pregnant women and IV drug users receiving priority treatment. A defendant may be screened to determine if he or she is appropriate for Drug Court. If deemed eligible to receive drug court services, the judge can make a decision to allow the defendant to enter the program. A court clerk will then provide the defendant with a referral and send him or her to our program.
