Joshua Tree Center for Change Drug Court is the case management and treatment provider for the County of San Bernardino’s Drug Court in Joshua Tree. We work collaboratively with other members of the Drug Court Team. As the team’s treatment provider, we help our clients achieve success in living a productive life that is free of criminal activity. Our treatment services offer group and individual counseling.

Program Services

Our group services include skill building in areas such as:

  • Relapse Prevention
  • Socialization
  • Family Education
  • Early Intervention

Our individual sessions include:

  • Intake and Assessment
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Treatment Planning

Eligibility Requirements

We provide treatment services to individuals who have been convicted of drug charges or charges that can be directly linked to substance abuse. Referrals from the Superior Court are presumed to have a personal drug abuse history and show signs that they can benefit from our treatment services.

Referrals

All our referrals come from the San Bernardino County Superior Court, Joshua Tree Branch. A defendant may be screened to determine if he or she is appropriate for Drug Court. If deemed eligible to receive drug court services, the judge can make a decision to allow the defendant to enter the program. A court clerk will then provide the defendant with a referral and send him or her to our program.

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens. - Kahlil Gibran
