The Daring to Achieve Recovery Together (D.A.R.T.) West program provides community-based treatment, Assertive Community Treatment, adult outpatient mental health support around the-clock, 365 days a year. Our culturally sensitive, gender responsive services promote mental wellness and independent living, and are designed to meet the individual needs of each client we serve.

  • 24-hour crisis intervention and support
  • Medication management and monitoring
  • Individual and group rehabilitation counseling
  • Case management services
  • Dual recovery treatment
  • Physical health assistance
  • Supportive housing
  • Assistance with daily living activities
  • Vocational rehabilitation
  • Educational and employment development
  • Peer counseling and support

Eligibility Requirements

D.A.R.T. West serves individuals who need more intensive services than traditional outpatient mental health services can provide and are 18 years of age and older from Fresno County who meet the requirements of an SMI diagnosis, not currently receiving services, and are at risk of or meet one or more of the following criteria: ​

  • Homelessness​ or at risk of homelessness
  • Involved in the criminal justice systems
  • Frequent users of hospitals and/or emergency room services as the primary resource for mental health treatment

Referrals

Referrals are made through various community partners, including hospitals, courts, probation, and other supportive services agencies through Fresno County DBH Urgent Care Wellness Center.
