Phillip Ybarra has been in the addictions field for the past 15 years. He has dedicated his career to working with substance abusers. He maintains the following credentials: Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Arizona since 2004; Alcohol and Drug Counselor, CADC-II, California since 2002; Substance Abuse Professional, NAADAC since 2004. He currently sits on the CAADAC Board of Directors serving as the Vice President of Region 1 North. Phillip works for the Federal Government at Camp Pendleton as a substance abuse counselor and is a consultant for Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla. In addition, he has a small private practice in Temecula, California, where he conducts substance abuse assessments for the Department of Transportation and meets with clients individually.
