Every year millions of people make New Year’s resolutions that they intend on keeping—whether they are related to spending more time with friends and family, losing weight, or quitting smoking. Sadly, only a small percentage of people keep their resolution for the whole 365 days of the year.

The Washington Post - House Republicans are vowing to vote on repeal of the health reform law in the first weeks of the new Congress, which convenes on Wednesday. Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), incoming chairman of one of the House committee that oversees health policy, said undoing the law would be a top priority for the new GOP-controlled Congress.

Wall Street Journal -- Members of the Screen Actors Guild recently read in their health plan's newsletter that, beginning in January, almost 12,000 of its participants will lose access to treatment for mental-health and substance-abuse issues.
