David Calandra to Oversee Central Valley and Central Coast Regions

April 25, 2012 – (Fresno, Calif.) -- Mental Health Systems, Inc. (MHS) announced today that David Calandra, LMFT, has been named vice president. Calandra will join the agency’s leadership team in assuring the delivery of innovative, cost-effective services for individuals and families living with behavioral health problems. In his new position, he will be responsible for the oversight of all programs operated by MHS in California’s Central Valley and Central Coast regions, and will work with community partners to address the unique service needs of area residents.

Spring break does just what it advertises, gives students a break, most often from school. And sometimes it gives them a reason to celebrate. “We’ve all heard what happens at spring break, people get a little crazy,” said Celeste Young, program manager for North Inland Community Prevention Program. “And then we’ve got prom and graduation coming. (April 2012) - Everyone is on pins and needles awaiting the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act, which was discussed privately last week and will be written over the next three months. Even if the ACA is completely voided, the state still needs to implement Parity for Medi-Cal by 2014.
