At MHS we are well aware of the expertise of our leaders and take pride when others acknowledge it as well. We were therefore happy to learn that David Conn, our Senior Vice President of Corrections & Rehabilitation, was interviewed for an article in today’s SignOnSanDiego Newsletter. We’re pleased to announce that the money raised by the Laugh for Recovery was able to provide for grants to 16 MHS programs!

On April 14th, MHS honored the hard work and dedication of 40 MHS employees who were celebrating anniversaries that marked 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service to our mission. This year’s event was hosted by Kim at the 94th Aero Squadron in San Diego.

Although underage drinking is illegal throughout the entire nation, statistics show that people aged 12-20 years drink 11 percent of all alcohol consumed in the country, and more than 90 percent of this alcohol is consumed in the form of binge drinking — an alarming number taking into consideration the high risks associated with this activity.
