Scott A. Suckow
As Vice President of Community Partnerships, Scott focuses on forming strategic alliances and raising funds to support the agency’s continuum of care. Scott is also responsible for co-directing the organization’s overall outreach and public relations strategy.
A former affiliate CEO of Mental Health America, Scott has a long history of involvement in the non-profit community. He has held leadership positions throughout the country with some of the nation’s leading voluntary health agencies. Dedicated to accessing care for those living with chronic health conditions, during his career Scott has worked in San Francisco, New York City, Minneapolis and San Diego.
Scott serves on the Board of Non-profit Management Solutions and the Downtown San Diego Partnership. Previously, he served on the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy and Healthcare Committees and Board of 2-1-1 San Diego. Scott is currently the appointee of County Supervisor Roberts on the Health Services Advisory Board. In 2009, he was named one of San Diego Magazine’s “50 People to Watch”, and received a 2011 Outstanding Community Partner Award from Community Health Improvement Partners (CHIP).
