The Regional Coordinator provides direct administrative and organizational support to the MHS Central Valley Region (Fresno) office. This position supports two Vice Presidents, interfaces with several other local offices regarding daily administrative needs, interfaces with community partners and departments of the home office of the agency. This is a part-time 32 hours a week exempt position which serves as a point of contact for program operational questions and offers clerical support for community activities in a variety of situations. The Regional Coordinator position requires independent judgment, a solution-focused orientation, and a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Education/Experience Required:
· AA degree or some college preferred.
· A minimum of 3 years of high level administrative experience, with a strong preference for an individual who has provided operational support at an advanced level in a office setting.
· Experience in a fast-paced organization with demonstrated ability to anticipate next steps; ability to learn the intricacies of the organization quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
· Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer software applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides administrative guidance to programs as needed and directed by the Vice President demonstrating a thorough understanding of program needs and agency policies and procedures.
· Perform routine clerical and administrative functions to include ordering supplies, answering phones, drafting correspondence, preparing meeting minutes, scheduling meetings, mail distribution, and maintaining paper and electronic files.
· Ability to analyze and resolve problems, determines priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative to support program operations and keep leadership informed of issues.
· Provides clerical and administrative support for training and education, fundraising and other activities in the region as directed.
· Proactively anticipates and reacts to providing required materials for meetings, prioritizing issues, and accommodating schedule changes.
· Coordinates travel, calendaring of appointments, and meetings such as retreats, speaking engagements, regional meetings and trainings, and teleconferences as directed.
· Work regularly, independently and within the team on special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
· Handle confidential and non-routine information with sensitivity.
