Program: 

Fresno FIRST is a six to fifteen month residential substance abuse, gender responsive, trauma informed residential therapeutic community.  It is a part of Female Offenders Treatment and Employment Program (FOTEP). The program provides Services to female pregnant women and their children while on parole.   Evaluates resident’s using intake and screening instruments incorporating a gender specific assessment of needs to obtain a complete medical, substance abuse, physical, emotional, educational and work history.   Develop individualize plan of services throughout the continuum of careFresno FIRST is a six to fifteen month residential substance abuse, gender responsive, trauma informed residential therapeutic community. Evaluates resident’s using intake and screening instruments incorporating a gender specific assessment of needs to obtain a complete medical, substance abuse, physical, emotional, educational and work history.  Develop individualize plan of services throughout the continuum of care. Provide services offered in the context of family and other relationships including individual group and family counseling. Provide special classes and workshops i.e. domestic violence.
Provide input to develop and improve program service and delivery.  Maintain clinical caseload as prescribed by the Program Coordinator. Provides a variety of interventions including individual and group therapy.  Maintains timely, accurate and legible documentation using assigned forms and formats for each participant in their case load.
Assists other staff in dealing with problematic participant behavior. Provides leadership by: a- facilitation groups in a timely manner when necessary, willingly filling in for colleagues, being alert for crisis situations, participant decompensate and agitation, supporting regular goals with program participants, assuring participants are informed of inappropriate behavior, encouraging team building and acting as a role model.
Conduct treatment team portion of staff meeting with weekly.

Education/Experience Requirements:
Master degree in Social Services or related field. Active California license as an LCSW, MFT or Psychologist. Two years experience providing clinical supervisions, administrative management and personnel direction.
