Journey Counselor

Provide substance abuse counseling to participants at state-of-the-art gender responsive clinical program for female offenders. Services include: mental health, substance abuse, family reunification, and more. A minimum of two years experience providing substance counseling, treatment and recovery services to the criminal justice population is required. Must have working knowledge of substance abuse programs, treatment, relapse prevention, 12-step program and cognitive therapy techniques.  AOD certified preferred but not required. The position requires funding source approval and extensive background check.
