AOD Counselor

Provide substance abuse counseling, case management, intake and assessment, and education services for 30 hours per week in female unit at Juvenile Hall. Interact with clients on a day-to-day basis providing individual and group counseling and education, as well as engaging in rehabilitation activities from time-to-time. Provide substance abuse recovery skills and information and leadership necessary to provide clients with the ability to recover from substance abuse addiction. Must be CA state counselor certified with approved standard counselor requirements. If ex-offender and/or ex-addict, must be successfully discharged from parole or probation for at least three years and in continuous recovery for three years.
