Gennene Wilburn has been in the human services field for more than 30 years with an emphasis on children’s learning options. Gennene has worked with school-related programs sponsored by San Diego Probation for the past 12 years. She assisted in the design and implementation of a truancy grant-funded program in 2000 and is the program manager for that award winning program — the Truancy Supervision program. She has been with the San Diego County Probation Department for 23 years. Gennene has a bachelor degree in Human Services as well as a certification in Business Coaching from San Diego State University. She recently completed a master’s program in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. She is currently in the master’s program in Organizational Leadership at National University. Gennene is the president of MPOWERU Inc.
