Description:

Children’s Wraparound Program was implemented in Fresno County in March 2010. Eligible youth and families are provided with a Wraparound team to assist with maintaining the youth at home and in their community. Wraparound is a family-driven process in which family members decide on the goals that are most important to them and recruit Wraparound team members to help them accomplish these goals. Wraparound works from a team-based approach in which multiple individuals work together toward a common purpose – to improve the lives of children and families through empowerment, encouraging positive change and supporting self sufficiency.
