As Director of Information Technology for MHS, Don Blake oversees the ongoing operation of well over 1,350 computers, approximately 120 servers and 100 program networks.

With more than 10 years of practical experience in his field, Mr. Blake has performed all aspects of research, design, implementation and operational support for enterprise services. In his time with MHS, Don has managed the successful implementation of numerous improvements and upgrades to the technology infrastructure of the agency including: high availability Microsoft Exchange environment, VOIP, WAN, and a telepresence system to facilitate company training and communication. In 2011, Don began the process of virtualizing much of the server environment for the agency’s home office. In addition to oversight of operational support and infrastructure development, Don is responsible for establishment of MHS’ information technology policies.

As well as these duties, Mr. Blake is the co-chair of the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation team. In this capacity, he strategically directs all technical aspects of this agency-wide initiative.

Don completed Coleman University’s program in Computer Applications and Advanced Computer Networking in 1999.
