Locating Family Members/Client Engagement

Our Family Findings program offers strengths-based services to identify, locate, engage and develop a network of extended family and friends who can support adolescents who are in the Child Welfare System (Foster Care). Designed to reconnect children and youth with potential lost family and relatives, the program provides: relative searches; family tree research; initial family contact in collaboration with the client’s Social Worker; assistance in developing relationships and/or placements; as well as links to needed community resources.

The referral process is through Child Welfare Services.
