Co-Occurring Disorders Level 2

Training Summary:

This training will review concepts learned in the COD level 1 training and then move onto an increased understanding of effective screening and assessment of individuals with co-occurring disorders. This training will expand knowledge of the DSM-IV as a diagnostic tool and increase understanding of therapeutic models and strategies used in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.
 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Review assumptions and biases that can be inherent in each system of care
  • Define screening and assessment and explore considerations for each
  • Facilitate understanding of the DSM IV as a diagnostic tool
  • Explore levels of care and therapeutic models and strategies for treatment of co-occurring disorders

 
** Completion of COD Level 1 is required
      prior to enrollment in this training.
