Courage to Call

Services Offered
  • Veterans Services
Description:

Courage to Call is the County of San Diego services information hub for veterans, active duty military, reservists, National Guards, and their families and loved ones.

Our Veteran-staffed, toll free, 24/7 Helpline provides comprehensive information, support, access, and/or referrals throughout San Diego County.

We provide individuals and families with short-term prevention-oriented service linkage that can reduce the stress and minimize challenges associated with being in the military, military family life, getting out of the military, and adjusting to life after the military.

We offer San Diego countywide training to help organizations and providers better understand military and military family culture, and mental health challenges relevant or unique to this population.

Courage to Call participates in the San Diego County Vet-Fam Forum and coordinates with community leaders and organizations to identify, build, and maintain linkage to resources and services.
