Building Bridges Together

Service Area: County Wide (South, Central, North Central, North Costal, North Inland, and East)

Building Bridges Together's purpose is to address the needs of children, youth and families with mental health and drug and alcohol disorders. We use a strengths-based approach to assist youth and families in achieving their goals through community resources, education and support services.  

Our Vision is to provide a family voice at all levels, in a system of care that enables children and youth to remain at home, succeed in school and avoid involvement with the juvenile justice system.

Our goal is to provide information and engage in advocacy regarding prevention, early intervention, family support, education, transitional services, research and other services needed by families.

To help us achieve our Purpose, Vision and Goal, Building Bridges Together has three essential components:

1. Providing access and referrals to community resources throughout San Diego County
2. Family support through the services of Family Support and Youth Support Partners
3. Outreach and Community Presentations.
